Snow White. We all know the story. The wicked queen consults her magic mirror to find out "Who is the fairest in all the land?"

At first, the magic mirror shows her what she would like to see–that she is the fairest of them all.

The next time she asks, it shows her that Snow White has supplanted her. Enraged, the Queen arranges to have Snow White killed.

The plan goes awry, and when next the Queen asks the mirror who is fairest, to her horror it shows her Snow White living happily with the Dwarves.

The Queen then takes matters into her own hands. In disguise, she gives Snow White a poisoned apple which puts Snow White into a death-like sleep from which only a Prince's kiss can awaken her. A handsome Prince obliges, and then proceeds to mortally wound the Queen. As she dies, he forces her to watch her image in the mirror, surrounded by flames, crack and fall into the inferno of the underworld.
