This gallery is a sampling of some of the photos I've taken over the last 3 months. It's a thankyou for all the love and support I get from so many wonderful people here and around the world.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM SUMMER 2010 _MUSIC, MUSIC, MUSIC The Summer Festival at the Music Academy of the West is my mainline summer gig and my 14th time (their 64th season) was a honey! Always informative Master Classes; the wonderfully exuberant Festival Orchestra; a fully staged gem of Don Giovanni; Christopher Taylor literally working up a sweat in a glorious solo performance; and more fiddles, singers, french horns, oboes, marimbas and cellos than you can shake a monopod at. __Speaking of marimbas, Camerata Pacifica had a corker of a mallet feast featuring Ji Hye Jung. ____Sings Like Hell brought back some favorites – Elyza Gilkyson and Eugene Edwards – and some new to SB acts: Dala's sweet, sweet harmonies; Crooked Still's revved-up country blues-grass; BettySoo's fine songcraft and lovely voice; and Milton's pitch perfect set. Peggie Jones keeps bringin' it on! __Lobero Live! continued to present cookin' music with Joan Armitrading singing her heart out and putting down some stinging guitar licks; Peter & Paul got everyone to sing along down memory lane; and jazz great (SB resident) Charles Lloyd made magic with a hot trio of young lions. __DANCEState Street Ballet's 4 week Summer Intensive program – young dancers ages 12-21 come from all over the country to get the finest, well, intensive training. I took a variety of formal and informal shots during a rehearsal for their gala season-ending performance. ___ The UCSB Dance Company took to the beach for some publicity photos for a piece being set on them by New York choreographer Jennifer Muller which will be performed next spring.____ THEATER – DIJO Productions & Virtual Theatre Co. put on an ambitious production of Peter Morgan's Frost/Nixon with video projections (see them Here) and live cameras, directed by Jim Sirianni at the Center Stage Theatre, which just celebrated its 20th anniversary!

For odds and ends, how about "shabby" photos for a Lobero Theatre capital campaign to raise funds to refurbish the interior of this beautiful theater? In other words, photos of wear and tear... ____ Or a beautiful silver flute for the Music Academy's 2011 Summer Festival printed material covers.____ Also, I've included some cover images for Scene Magazine & SB Independent that feature my photos laid out by 2 talented local designers. I've had many covers, but this is the first time I've added them. If you missed it, check out the NEW SLIDESHOW with MUSIC (by yours truly) on my index page here.. There's more music on Rolly's Video and even more to come in the near future!

Photos are arranged chronologically. Check back again for the latest in January, April, July and next October. Hope you enjoy it!
